Cat Site Forum
Tee hee hee - We joined up Meowike on an internet forum all about us!
http://www.thecatsite.com
We've had a lot of fun looking at the other cats on there. Some of them look just like us, some look like the cats that come by the invisible plate that prevents us from jumping out the square holes in the wall of our house. We can use the computer pretty well, but can't figure out why the plastic cursor- moving thingy is called a "mouse". It doesn't have any fur!

New Playground
Look what we found to play in! I jumped in one side and Cosmo jumped in the other. We had a lot of fun in the laundry hamper thing. Now how do we get out before we get dirty clothes tossed on us??

Lost My Chair
Meowike - duh, I mean Mike chiming in here. Well so much for my comfortable computer chair. As you can see, Taza has claimed it now so I'm stuck using a hard wooden stool. She likes the game we play when she jumps in the chair and I spin it around, but not too fast. Then its nap time. Oh well, I can always get another chair. She always likes to follow me around the house and sit next to me. What a cat. What goes on in that little brain we'll never truly know.

Taza has a crush
Meowike was surfing the 'net and I happened by. He said that there was a web page that had cats like me, Siamese. I said, meow, sure let's check it out. So we went to Black & Tan Siamese. We were checking it out and all of a sudden, there was the cutest guy there, Balor. I read all of his adventures and thought it would be nice if I could get a date with him. Meowike said that he lived far away, and he already had several girlfriends anyway. Oh well, at least I can go back to his blog from time to time and check him out. I wonder if he looks at my blog? Meowike said yeah, probably, 'cause his mom has looked at it, so he is probably looking too. I wonder if he thinks I'm cute. Oh well, maybe I can get a guy like that someday!

Hideout
I think I chase poor Cosmo around too much. He found this box that Meowike was going to toss and started using it as a hideout. I try to chew the flaps off to get him out, but he won't budge. Oh well, time for a nap anyway!

Italian tastes
What's this thing? Meowike gave it to us because we were meowing to him that we wanted it. We thought it was a toy, but it smelled good like food. We both had a piece of it, and it tasted great. He said it was spaghetti. Hmmmm, whatever, I just know I'll have some more next time!

If they had the keys?

The proper method of stalking birds
Use the available items around you to the utmost advantage. See here, I have crawled under the rug - thus hiding most of my body.
NOTE: This only works for indoor stalking - there are no rugs in the field!

A Snake!
This snake looks real! That's why I hissed at it when I first saw it! I never saw one before but I guess I just knew what a snake was supposed to look like. I think it's called instinctive behavior according to meowike. Like I know what that means. Nevertheless, I took care of that snake in no time.

Napping spots
The patio door is the best napping spot I've found. It's warm and I can hear any interesting birds here also.
I luv my chair, it's the best napping spot. Who cares about birds when you're trying to take a nap?

Crazy Box
Meowike got this crazy box for us - I don't understand very well. He drops a ball into the top and it goes away. Then if we look into the side of the box, we see the ball somewhere else. Cosmo was helping me try to find the ball - I would put my paw into the box and he would tell me which way the ball went. Meowike could get the ball out but we never could! It's a lot of fun trying to get the ball though.

Dog Show
Taza here, and - LOL - I caught my new buddy watching a dog show, of all things on Animal Planet. He said meowike usually tuned into the dog shows for him so he could laugh at the poor dogs taking orders. Cosmo said us cats are way too smart to take orders from anybody, unless we want to impress them a *whole* lot. That's why i've been doing whatever meowike asks me too (right now), because I want to thank him so much for bringing me home. I wonder if they ever have cat shows on that channel?

Mutual Smellervations
Today was pretty warm so meowike opened up the patio door so I could smell the scents out there, and Cosmo ended up smelling with me. I knew he would come around sooner or later. I think it's my blue eyes that did him in. He even let me lick his fur. What man could resist that!
A Nice Window
Meowike had this picture window put in last year, and it sure is nice. He has a feeder out there and it atracts a lot of birds I wish I could catch. He also told me that a possum comes by at night, and other cats from around the 'hood. I'll have to keep a close eye on them, 'cause I know if they walk around the house I can see them out some other windows I know of. Maybe he'll let me out there someday, but not to catch and kill birds, meowike said that would be mean, and I'm not a mean girl at all. I bet it's gonna look nice in the springtime back there, we were in a drought here in TX but got a whole lot of rain yesterday. I hope Cosmo will come and watch birds with me soon, I think we could have a lot of fun together.
